Short Hair Finally

I have been out of internet for awhile now and now this new blogger stuff hasn't allowed me to update on my phone. I finally got the courage to cut my hair short! I was so nervous because I hate fixing my hair and rarely ever do. So naturally it just flips out and goes wavy and gets hard to manage. But its actually not that bad... for now at least. I feel that it makes me actually look my age now.
Took pictures around my school today for the first time.Wearing a Forever 21 sheer pink blouse, Hollister white tank underneath, American Eagle cut off denim shorts and again my brown boots.

A fun little squirrel to a great end to the day.

I just finished reading "A Tree Grows in Brooklyn" by Betty Smith. It is a really good book. Hope you guys will consider reading it.

Aerie bralette, I think its a fun and sexy.

I read "Wither" the first installment of this book over spring break. And I want to read this one so bad. But I have to wait till school is over.

I love Gotye so much! I've been listening to them non stop on Pandora. I need to get the CD soon.

Random walks in the park

Nathan and I took a random walk at the park and by chance came across this great little area. It reminds of the Taylor Swift "Safe and Sound" video setting, with all the trees and the pathway. I think this place is so beautiful and I cannot wait to go back again. I used my iPhone to take these pictures since I wasn't planning on taking any pictures. I really just wanted to capture the scene and the sunset. That's why I'm not wearing any makeup and my hair is in a bun. Wearing a coral lace tank from Urban Outfitters, Hollister skinny jeans, Old Navy gray tank underneath and Gianni Bini leather ankle boots.

The usual gloom look on my face. ;)

Star Gazing

Ever since I was little I have always loved stars. I remember my parents buying me a telescope and spending all night pretending to be an astronomer, which was really hard cause I lived in the city.
So its no surprise I bought this dress and have a number of star items scattered around my room, I still have glow in the dark stars on my ceiling. I got this dress at H&M when it first opened in Dallas. The boots are Lucky Brand, they are black suede with buckles and a decent sized heel. And pretty uncomfortable, hasn't stopped me from wearing them a lot lately though.
I took this photo awhile ago, but haven't had the time (as usual) to post. I don't think I'm wearing any makeup in the photo and my hair is how it always is-washed, unfixed and unbrushed.

Black and grey. Blazers and long dresses.

Hi! I wore this outfit on a trip to Marble Falls with my family. We had lunch at this place called River City Grille. It had a cute balcony overlooking the lake. My lunch of salmon and asparagus was delicious. It was a great time spent with my family. We drove back home taking the scenic long route. Which is always really great.
I wore a black blazer from American Eagle, long grey dress I bought at Dillard's and Jessica Simpson black booties. I haven't worn these in so long and rediscovered it again.

I keep finding myself asking why my professors like to schedule assignments and tests all at once. Oh frustration.

Red barn

Finally getting a blog post in friends! Hello!
It was so great to hear about your various thoughts on the Jason Wu for Target collection. I have been doing all sorts of things lately. Keeping myself busy with going to the movies, sketching, writing and getting in as much sleep as I can.
I've been wanting to attend spin class at my school. But I am so shy in front of people that I keep talking myself out of it. Anyone as shy as me?
Here I am wearing a Stylemint tee-it has tiny red dots all over the shirt, Hollister dark skinny jeans that I cuffed, Ralph Lauren crocodile black ballet flats, Abercrombie and Fitch belt, Fossil Mens leather watch, a black and white cuff from a market in the Philippines and Forever 21 bracelets.

Currently listening to the Civil Wars "Barton Hollow" CD, a gift from Nathan for Valentines day and a shirt that needs to be put in a post soon.
